MEASURES BETTER THAN OTHERS
One of the most important components of the system is the photoplethysmograph sensor (PPG). Unlike other manufacturers, this sensor operates at 100 and 200 Hz measurement rates and provides raw data, hundreds of megabytes in a day. This amount of data is necessary to be able to determine fatigue and the true energy level of an individual.
Other subsystems
Data Collection Subsystem
The Data Collection Subsystem handles the uniform, efficient transmission, storage and management of data with different frequencies and characteristics.
Device Management Subsystem
The Device Management Subsystem implements the framework for the management of assets in the system. It manages the devices supported by the system, their measured values, device lifecycle and actual firmware versions.
Personal profile management component
The Personal Profile component provides a feature to manage users' personal data. These are channelled through appropriate processing algorithms into the fatigue detection, modelling, processing and prediction process.
Questionnaire Management component
Previous research has shown that data describing personal characteristics play a significant role in the intended fatigue detection and prediction process. An important element for capturing these is the Questionnaire Management component.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) component
The AI module of the software system is responsible for detecting and predicting fatigue.
Mobile App component
The Mobile App component is an application, currently running only in the Android software environment on a mobile phone, which provides the data link between the smartwatch and the framework running on the server and provides the primary user interface for the user.
AN IMPROVEMENT OVER THE ENERGO WATCH P1
Battery
The significantly increased battery capacity allows for several days of continuous measurement on a single charge.
Appearance
The asset has a completely new look, new design, new housing, more colours, quick release strap attachment.
New Buttons
New - but still programmable - tactile push-buttons have made the instrument much more comfortable and stable to use.
New firmware
Improved firmware has opened up new applications for the use of the device.
Bluetooth
The improved bluetooth connection has created a more stable connection.
Continuous improvement
The development of the EW2 and its potential applications has not stopped and will be reported on in the future.
